CADS and the Local Environment |

 The CADS believes that raising society's awareness of sustainability is a core element to progress in this area. A key aspect in this process is the need to make global issues to local issues.
With this in mind, the CADS work in the local area centres to develop initiatives and projects to encourage good practices, while at the same time providing advice and a strategic view of aspects such as water and energy management, atmospheric contamination, mobility, residues, planning, municipal funding, etc.
The CADS also collaborates with networks of governments and local bodies to spread the knowledge generated and promote the culture of sustainability in this area.
